Moderation:
This thread will be used to publish details of actions Moderators have taken. It is to show other members that we have acted, demonstrate what sort of forum behaviour leads to what sort of action, and to show that actions are fair.
This topic will remain locked except when moderators are adding to it. Please do not comment here if you find it open.

This morning, the following message was sent to t-p:

Your posting has become increasingly disruptive in recent weeks. Despite warnings from Moderators you continue to make posts which are clearly off-topic.
Because your posting is viewed as disruptive by many menmbers of the forum, and because you have ignored warnings from moderators, we are banning you for a period of 1 week. You will next be able to post on the forum on the morning of May 26th.
If you continue to post in a disruptive fashion after that point, a longer suspension and possible outright ban will follow.

Ariadne is to be suspended for 2 months for
* continued personal attacks on other members
* continually ignoring moderator requests to stop

Following on from the above.
After Ariadne's suspension expired he returned at the beginning of December to post an unprovoked attack on a Member. The Moderation Team received numerous complaints about this and sent Ariadne a PM asking that he remove the offensive comments in the post and apologise to the Member in question. He was given a deadline of over 24 hours to comply with this or we would remove the content. He informed the Mods that he wouldn't edit the content or issue an apology.
We then removed the offensive remarks and issued a Final Warning saying that if he posted any further personal attacks then his account would be withdrawn. There was no acknowledgement to this.
Yesterday we received complaints about another personal attack on a Member. As a result of this and Mod discussion Ariadne is now banned from this Forum and has been notified of this action.

We have received a number of complaints about Sean's posts on the "Sean's Thailand" thread.
Sean has been informed that he is required to remove the posts by 1200 GMT tomorrow. Should he fail to do so, they will be removed and he will be on a final warning.
If he posts any further inappropriate material he will be banned.
