I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.

The initial prognosis was unclear but her subsequent course of self-medication seemed ill-advised.

Our cat has been quite of a naughty chap , lately. he has a perfectly good scratching post, of which he uses quite often, but he also has the tendancy to use the carpet as well! Any ideas why, or just a mischievious cat?

Wilfred heaton: Sinfonia Concertante for cornet and brass band8; Toccata, Oh The Blessed Lord!; Variaitons. Black Dyke Band, Nicholas J Childs.

Nice CD BBM. Do you have all four of the WH CDs? The Variations is about his best piece IMO. Very fond of WH's BB works. And to think Contest Music was turned down as a test piece because it was too modern!

Yes I kinow DTK! Absolute stupidity on the brass band movement! Ive played it several times and it's a very good work, especially the middle slow movement. I wiold say that amongst his best works are yes the Variations, also his Sinfonia conceretante for cornet and brass band and his partita as well.

I have all the cds of this WH tribute,. And i must say the playing of both Dyke and the ISB are top notch!
